Humpty Dumpty egg!

As said very wisely, people suffering from PTSD are like the Humpty Dumpty egg. At one point this egg is sitting over the wall singing merrily and next moment its a scrambled mess! I am struggling with PTSD for past 10 years, which I discovered pretty late. So thought of writing about it today.

Post traumatic stress disorder involves anxiety attacks, increased palpitation, eyeballs or pupil dysfunction, sometimes shooting the BP high or low, flashbacks, uncontrollable thoughts about the event, severe headache, recurring fear, nightmares, sometimes sleeplessness, difficulty in breathing in extreme cases blackouts and collapse.

It causes hypervigillence, where in the person becomes overly alert to avoid stressful situations.
It causes behavioural changes which are called ticks. While experiencing the ticks person may experience severe headache. These attacks can last up-to several minutes causing extreme panic and fear! and then they fade. This disorder comes in waves. Ticks tend to reduce with increase meditation and mindfulness practices.

Most of the people suffering from this tend to isolate themselves because these people are unaware when they will get the attack. These attacks are physiologically painful! and in extreme cases people collapse. Are we building an environment where we are not aggravating the anxiety by putting up poisonous content over social media?

Trolling over the internet only fuels this condition. What right do we have to play with people's mental health? If we encounter a problem try asking what is it? Instead of jumping to conclusions.
And writing facebook posts mocking is just downright mean and stupid! We are not high school students who will just bully people, we need to start dealing with the issues like adults and with a sensitivity.

And someone's stress disorder is NOT a sugarcoated myth!

With proper counselling and treatment these people can lead a normal life. Help build a safer internet.

Sure! and you can wear all the 'yellow' things in the world, to spread disinformation about a person's identity, just know that 'what you are wearing is what YOU represent!'

And be rest assured, especially a PTSD sufferer who is a 100 times ALERT about his or her environment is watching your conduct VERY closely. So do not try to fool anyone!
DO NOT force your 'yellowness' to someone else.

People who start wearing 'hints' like these will eventually mess themselves up, because thats the basic thought they have hold on to.

And do not talk about people's sexual orientation as easily as you are giving shallow 'movie review' to your frivolous peers. Have enough maturity before you comment!
