I worked on this today!

Moral Compass!

Carry your own moral compass with yourself ALWAYS!
No one is going to rescue you out of anything! But if you
have your moral compass intact in the most difficult situations
nobody can move you!

If people throw their judgements, no matter how actively
and abashedly! Have courage to disagree!

When people defame us, we make sure we keep on doing
what is right! Gossips make us more determined to keep on
doing the right thing and being on the right path! Its never about 
proving them wrong! But its about doing things in alliance with 
your conscious for your peace!

ALWAYS evolve...

from a Money-Plant to a Feng Shui!
Feng Shui are not just plants, they say these plants
are about the energy. Likewise work on yourself,
your energy, to make it one with the universe!

Be yourself unapologetically!
If it comes to that be alone, for its better to be by yourself than
being in a wrong company! Do the right thing!
Be the right person for yourself and you will be
surrounded by right people eventually!

Three types of People

There are three types of people that you will come across
while living this life

1. People who are rainbow to your cloud - People who help you in difficult times.

2. People who are thorns to your rose - These are the people who help you grow
these people help you become the best version of yourself. They might be hard on you.
They might criticise you. But its all coming from a good place. They are well intentioned people
These are the keepers!

3. People who are rocks in your pants! - Now these are the people you do not befriend!
Not in any case! people who pass sexual remarks, below the belt remarks nasty and derogatory comments. These are the toxic people.They could be bullies. These people will make you feel that you are worthless. They may disguise themselves as friends! But they are worse than your enemies! You have nothing to do with such people, not even the enmity! They will make you feel uncomfortable thats why they called the rocks in your pants! They are as helpful as blisters on a hike! So stay away from such people!

We come to Earth with a purpose

I believe that we are beautiful spiritual beings,
who are here for a brief time, in these clay vessels
to learn lessons, to learn to love another!

We come to Earth to with a purpose.
Do not think for a moment that you are an accident!
and you were born to who you were born to,
and you are with people you are with now,
as a great divine plan!

We learn from our families!
A lot sometimes that we do not even want to learn!
But they are teaching us as hopefully we are teaching them!

We have two homes our physical body and this Earth
We should learn to take good care of both!

When it looks like the sun,
is not shining anymore.....
God puts up a rainbow in the clouds! :)

So you if you have many clouds in your life,
there will be rainbows.

People you meet who are nice, kind to you when you are
in a cloud (in a difficult situation) those people are your rainbows.
Value them.
And make yourself so strong, wise, kind that you can be a rainbow
in someone else's cloud! :D

स्तब्ध धरेचे निवांत अंगण
अलगद वारा स्पर्शुनि जातो
कणकणातून होते रिंगण
रंग ताम्बडा नभी सांडतो

निळ्या नभाची अफाट मखमल
मातीला मग भुलवुनी जाते,
धूसर, इवल्या, रुक्ष कणातुन,
ताम्बुस ओले स्वप्न जन्मते

I had written a poem after I read Anandi Gopal! Will share the poem sometime!

I love this sweet song! :)

I am the Rose!

And when the thorns pierced her,
and the pain was excruciating,
at one decisive moment,
she made her mind to not give in.

Lifted herself gently and
carefully above all the spines,
and whispered to herself
"I am still a delicate, tender, fragrant flower!
I am the Rose!"

Since then this magnificent flower
has climbed her way above the thorns,
is been sitting on the top,
holding herself high in the wind  :)

भर भर वरती फेस उसळतो
खळखळ हसते साबणपाणी
धूणी धुते मी  लख्ख पांढरी 
आणीक गाते मजेत गाणी

चुबकुन पिळुन घड्या घालूनी
हळूच टाकते तारेवरती
मजेत झूलती कपडे सुकति 
ऊन तळपते वारे फिरती

मनामनांवर कपड्यांऐशी
धूळ साठते, डागाही पडती
कसे उरावे कलंक परी ते
निळ्या नभातील तेजापुढती

उद्योगी रत असता मानव
शोकाला न च मिळतो थारा
पहले फूलवती हसून तयाला
आणि उजळती लख्ख धारा

डोके करूदे विचार आणिक,
सूखदुःखाने हृदय भरावे
एक मागणे देवाजवळी
हातानी पण काम करावे :)

Jo writes this poem one day...when she feeling depressed.
Her father has fallen ill on the warfront and her mother has gone
to look after him! She misses her parents and happy days spent with them.

But after all decides to shake all the dullness off, while washing the clothes
and writes this rather quirky poem :)

About how like clothes human minds get stained and dull too....
but the gloominess does not stand a chance in front of the
bright sunlight and the clear blue sky.

when a person keeps himself or herself busy in some or the other work,
there is no time to ponder upon the tragedies of this life.
And then the mind blooms like a flower and the sun illuminates the being!

She almost prays than wishes, that let the mind be engaged
with productive thoughts!
and may it be filled with joys and sorrows of everyday life.
But O'Lord these two hands of mine, may they always be engrossed in working!

This book is filled with such beautiful poems! and I have them by heart (most of them)
will post some more in coming days!

A good poem for me right now!
For past few days I am not finding the pace with which
I usually work. Feeling a lethargy all day!
Not been able to focus....but I must gear up!

So thought of writing the blog today...
hope this writing will help me clear my mind
and bring up the much needed enthusiasm to finish the deadlines!

LITTLE WOMEN Trailer (2019)

Can't wait for this!

I read Little Women right before my 10th exams and could not put it down until
I was finished. I read the Marathi translation by the great Shanta Shelke.
And I fell in love with the March sisters and Laurie :)

I remember in one of the major interviews in my life I was asked
'what would be your dream project?'
and I had replied to illustrate Little women!

Someday would it not be great if I got to illustrate some edition!
Just the cover is fine too :)
It really would be a dream come true!
But until then waiting for this great looking movie! :)

A place within yourself!

There is a place in you that you should keep inviolate, pristine, clean!
So nobody has the right to treat you badly!
Because that is the place you go to when you meet God!

And that learn to say NO when its a 'NO'!
Because that place has to remain clean, a place within yourself!

When someone comes with a bad message or invasive language to you,
you should be able to say
"Not me you know! Do you not know I am a child of God!?"
Build that courage. Learn to be assertive and firm!

Have faith!

Food should be good!
People should dance!
Strawberries should sing,

Good bread makes a sandwich,

Good soil makes a salad,

lettuce should be dirty!

(salad) Dressing clean!

Sweet should never be fake,

Manners never minded

Debates should be healthy,

Pacts buried.

Forks on the left, knives on the right

Hands should be used regardless!

Bellies should be rubbed!

tables should be full!

and good food should be good for you!

We are not saying these are rules you should live by

But its a good place to start!

Had written this down the first time watched this ad..

As I said some movies stay with us forever..
First I had shared 'Fly Away Home!' this is the second one
that I absolutely cherish! :)
